After 23 years of making hammocks, this is one of those rare builds where everything came together. The fabric, the width, the strength, the weather resistance, the feel. Concrete + checks every box I want a premium hammock to check.
The fabric is a rare find: a tough concrete-gray weave with a mild shimmer that comes alive when the sunlight hits it. It’s highly UV resistant, quick to dry, rugged enough for serious outdoor use, and cut extra wide so there’s real room to stretch out, curl up, or share it with someone.
Instead of rope at the ends, I used heavy-duty cargo strap webbing. The end webbing itself is 6,000-lb-rated, giving this hammock the kind of substantial, overbuilt feel I wanted from the start. This is a resort-quality build, but it’s just as at home in a backyard, at the lake, on a porch, or anywhere you want a permanent favorite place to land.

If you’re shopping by price alone, this probably isn’t the hammock. If you want the one with the room, the weather resistance, the toughness, the quick-dry performance, and the little extra spark when the sun hits it, this is the one I’d point you toward.
Optional suspension: For trees, I recommend pairing Concrete + with XT Phatty Hammock Straps and Carabiners (sold separately). They use wide, tree-friendly 6,000-lb-rated cargo webbing and oversized polished stainless-steel carabiners, giving you a heavy-duty, resort-quality suspension setup to match the hammock. For a permanent location, stainless-steel carabiners with stainless-steel screw eyes are another option. Contact me if you want help choosing the right setup.

Ships via UPS, generally once each week. Shipping is calculated at checkout and normally runs $15–$25.

I ship orders via UPS. Because of my rural location, packages need to be transported to a neighboring town for shipment. I generally ship once each week, usually on Wednesday. If you provide your email address when placing your order, UPS will send tracking information when your package enters its system.
If you need alternate shipping arrangements, please contact me before ordering and I’ll do my best to help.
Shipping is a flat $25 per order, regardless of order size or quantity.
Exchanges
I’ll gladly exchange your purchase for any reason.
I do not offer refunds.
My exchange policy lasts 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, I can’t offer an exchange.
To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
To complete an exchange, I’ll need a receipt, proof of purchase, or order number.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, I’ll contact you to confirm whether the exchange is approved.

Between two trees
Choose two healthy, sturdy trees. Keep the straps flat against the bark and position them high enough to create a comfortable curve in the hammock. Do not pull the hammock guitar-string tight; a fabric hammock is generally more comfortable with visible sag.
Indoors or on a structure
A hammock can also be hung from properly installed structural anchors, posts, or a suitable stand. The attachment points must be capable of safely supporting the expected load in the direction the hammock pulls. If you are not certain about the structure or hardware, have the installation evaluated by someone qualified.
Before you get in
Inspect the hammock, straps, stitching, and hardware. Keep the area underneath clear and start with the hammock low to the ground while testing the setup. Avoid aggressive swinging and supervise children.
