Everything I sell is handcrafted here at The Hammock Hut using quality materials and careful craftsmanship. If you have a question before ordering or would like help choosing the right hammock or accessory, please contact me at Shawn@HammockHut.com or call 715-347-7467. I’m happy to help.

I ship orders via UPS. Because of my rural location, packages need to be transported to a neighboring town for shipment. I generally ship once each week, usually on Wednesday. If you provide your email address when placing your order, UPS will send tracking information when your package enters its system.

If you need alternate shipping arrangements, please contact me before ordering and I’ll do my best to help.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. They are generally $15, may be $20 depending on order size and quantity, and will not exceed $25 for larger orders.

Exchanges

I’ll gladly exchange your purchase for any reason.

I do not offer refunds.

My exchange policy lasts 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, I can’t offer an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Gift cards are non-refundable.

To complete an exchange, I’ll need a receipt, proof of purchase, or order number.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, I’ll contact you to confirm whether the exchange is approved.

Exchange shipping

You are responsible for the cost of shipping an item back for exchange. Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

For items valued over $75, I recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance.

How to hang your hammock

The easiest portable setup is a pair of Hammock Hut Tree Huggers. They let you move a hammock from the yard to the cabin, campsite, or another suitable location without permanent hardware.

Between two trees

Choose two healthy, sturdy trees. Keep the straps flat against the bark and position them high enough to create a comfortable curve in the hammock. Do not pull the hammock guitar-string tight; a fabric hammock is generally more comfortable with visible sag.

Indoors or on a structure

A hammock can also be hung from properly installed structural anchors, posts, or a suitable stand. The attachment points must be capable of safely supporting the expected load in the direction the hammock pulls. If you are not certain about the structure or hardware, have the installation evaluated by someone qualified.

Before you get in

Inspect the hammock, straps, stitching, and hardware. Keep the area underneath clear and start with the hammock low to the ground while testing the setup. Avoid aggressive swinging and supervise children.
